Background

The Youth Advisory Board (YAB), established by UNFPA in partnership with Aiming Change for Tomorrow (ACT) International, is a structured consultative platform designed to strengthen and institutionalize youth engagement in Pakistan. Building on UNFPA’s continued investment in youth leadership, particularly in Reproductive Health and Rights (RHR), Life Skills-Based Education (LSBE), and the intersection of Climate Change and health, the YAB shifts engagement from activity-based participation to a sustained mechanism for meaningful youth inclusion. The Board brings together young people from diverse backgrounds to ensure their perspectives are integrated into programme design, implementation, and advocacy, enabling youth to actively contribute to policy dialogue, community engagement, and social change processes across the country.
